Natalie Maksin is responsible for the Moonbeam Capital Investments, LLC’s legal affairs, providing legal counsel for the company’s acquisitions, financings, structuring, commercial contracts, tax matters, research, and general legal and business advice to the company’s executive management team.
Prior to joining MCI, Natalie Maksin practiced tax law from 2003 to 2010 at Weil, Gotshal and Manges, LLP, where she advised domestic and international clients on structuring of real estate transactions. Prior to Weil, Gotshal and Manges, LLP, Mrs. Maksin was a manager in the PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP’s assurance business advisory services group.
Mrs. Maksin is an adjunct professor at the City University of New York where she teaches taxation. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association and American Institute of Certified Public Accountancy. Mrs. Maksin is admitted to the Bar in New York and Connecticut, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She holds CPA licenses in New York and Maryland.
Mrs. Maksin earned an LL.M. from the New York University Law School, a J.D. (the Order of Coif, cum laude) from the Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School, and a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) from the New York University Stern School of Business.
